About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at 59th Medical Wing Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Assess acute and non-acute clinical problems.
- →Direct collaborative care assessment, diagnosis and management of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- →Provide counseling to patients and their families.
- →Evaluate care delivery models and strategies, using concepts related to community, environmental/occupational health, and cultural and socioeconomic dimensions of health.
- →Serve as a preceptor to graduate students enrolled in nurse practitioner and physician assistant programs, medical students and to newly assigned nurse practitioners.
