About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Provides urgent and non-urgent care for patients of all ages.
- →Assume continuing responsibility for informing patients about implications to health status, treatment, prognosis through counseling and health teaching.
- →Develop and provide health promotional services.
- →Discriminate between normal and abnormal findings on the physical assessment and laboratory screening.
- →Prescribe a variety of medications to patients based on the MTF formulary.
- →Document in the patients record (manually and/or electronically) all observations, plans, treatments, teaching and other important findings.
