About the Role

The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York's mission is to investigate, prosecute and deter violations of federal statutes, enforce and represent the interests of the United States in civil litigation, uphold civil, constitutional and victims' rights, and foster partnerships with other federal, state and local government agencies and community groups.

What You'll Do

  • This Administrative Services Specialist provides planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of administrative services that support the efficient operation of the district.
  • If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Administrative Services Specialist support in the U.S.
  • Attorney's Office, Eastern District of New York, located in Central Islip, New York, focusing in the areas of administrative support.
  • Typical work assignments will include: Coordinates office operations including scheduling, correspondence control, and tracking task assignments.
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and recommends improvements to administrative processes related to budget, travel, facilities and records management.
  • Ensures compliance with Department of Justice and Executive Office of the United States Attorney's policies.
  • Prepares reports and reconciles financial data.
