This position reports to the chief, Social Work Service for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System in Las Vegas. Social Work Service is a large multidisciplinary service with over 180 FFTEs and 6 intern positions. Social Work Services provides Veteran care in 17 different programs operating in four primary care clinics including a community-based outpatient clinic covering two county areas.
What You'll Do
- →Duties may include but are not limited to: Full range of Human resource management; recruitment, promotions, awards, staff disciplinary actions comprehensive administrative and managerial assistant to support Staff.
- →Workload Analysis Resource Allocation Support role to develop and coordinate internal review systems Establishes administrative controls identify problem involving new or revised policies or procedures Provide comprehensive administrative and managerial assistance on proposed solutions.
- →Prepares and contributes to reports and other presentations on program planning and evaluation.
- →Coordinates and monitors the implementation of initiatives to expand or enhance Social Work programs.
- →Prepare written recommendations, deliver briefings and recommendations.
- →Oversee the quality and quantity of staff, Maintains records, minutes and schedules.
- →Participates and is a member of the Social Work Services Supervisor/Executive Committee provides feedback and communicates needs to upper management.
- →Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 0700-1630 Telework: Not Authorized.
