About the Role

The position serves as the Administrative Officer for the Primary Care Outpatient Clinics located in Alexandria, Louisiana. Duties include planning, analyzing, organizing, and directing outpatient health care delivery system as well as analyzing, evaluating, coordinating, and managing administrative and clinical activities. The position manages all of the administrative requirements for the PACT (Primary Care Aligned Team) teams and support staff.

What You'll Do

  • Duties may include: Evaluates, processes, and make recommendations for effective organizational changes.
  • Performs organizational analysis to ensure ideal structure, effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Conducts studies, analyses findings, make recommendations and assesses impact of performance monitoring and improvement; analysis existing automated and manual data systems to determine the type of information available.
  • Coordinates all administrative and financial functions necessary to assure the smooth effective running of the Primary Care service.
  • Establishes performance measurements of key functions within the Service, coordinated data necessary for analysis and develops corrective actions as necessary.
  • Formulates presents, executes, and analyzes primary care service budget.
  • Develops special projects and reports which encompass areas related to identifying potential and/or immediate cost savings for the Medical Center, budget analysis, projecting and forecasting, operation and staffing analyses, PACT Team, and Veteran relations Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm; Subject to change based on the needs of the facility.
