This position serves as the Administrative Officer (AO) for the Community and Primary Care Based Medicine service and will report to the Primary Care Director of Nursing. The incumbent will be responsible for contributing to the oversight of administrative personnel in Primary Care locations at the main facility and outlying Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC); data collection, evaluation, and reporting related to clinical activities.
What You'll Do
- →Major duties include, but are not limited to: Provides accurate workload analysis reports to management.
- →Coordinates special projects at the request of the Chief and director of service.
- →Conducts studies of manpower, workload, space, equipment, and other resources utilization of all CBOC activities.
- →Edits and reviews outgoing correspondence, reports, memoranda, etc. for accuracy and completeness.
- →Provides advanced human capital management support (prepares job descriptions, conducts job analyses, and crafts compelling justifications for new positions).
- →Aids all Primary Care and Administrative medicine staff in travel arrangements, IT request, work orders, and other support requests.
- →Administers Human Resources processes such as generated certificates of applicants; interview panels; selection documents; and tracking all aspects of the on-boarding process.
- →Prepares narrative position justifications and the corresponding workload, efficiency, and fiscal supporting data.
- →Submits materials to Resource Management Committee.
- →Provides technical advice on CBOC management methods/practices, analytical tools and problem solving approaches.
- →Serves on medical center committees as a member of the management team.
- →Serves as point of contact for other medical center administrative service/department (i.e., Police, EMS, safety, motor pool, SPD, warehouse, engineering, fiscal, etc.).
- →Work Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm.
- →Monday - Friday.
