The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior acquisition and technical advisor to the AFMC Special Access Program Management Office and as the recognized Special Access Program/Special Access Required (SAP/SAR) developmental planning, capability requirements, and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) Program Objective Memorandum expert.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as Division focal point to integrate across functions and use acquisition and technical expertise to advise SAPMO, MAJCOM, and Air Force leadership as necessary.
- →Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with HQ AFMC offices, AFMC Centers, and other MAJCOMs, AirStaff, other Services/Agencies and DoD Offices.
- →Serves as a technical and acquisition advisor to senior MAJCOM, Air Force, and DoD subject matter experts and/or agency officials responsible for broad SAP operations.
- →Attends meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars related to SAP developmental planning, program execution, and planning and programming.
- →Accomplishes professional development and maintains acquisition and technological proficiency through professional interaction with technical and professional experts, associations, academia, symposia, contractors, formal training, and Research Development Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) organizations.
