The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an acquisition program manager responsible for developing, establishing, implementing, and controlling contractual, financial, and technical aspects of a project/program through designated phases of the acquisition cycle in the Systems Development Directorate.
What You'll Do
- →Assesses progress in assigned projects/programs including cost estimates, schedules, and performance supportability baseline requirements by applying known methods and procedures.
- →Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates activities of functional specialists including contracting, engineering, manufacturing, program control, configuration/data management, test, and logistics.
- →Reviews and directs the progress of contractors in meeting program objectives.
- →Prepares and presents staff studies for presentation to the Program Director and other management officials.

- ✓ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS.
- ✓This position is in the Excepted Service.
