About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is an ACCOUNTING OFFICER, GS-0510-13 position for the US Army Engineer District, Tulsa Resource Management Office, Finance and Accounting Branch located in Tulsa, OK 74121.
What You'll Do
- →Evaluate account balances, trends and conditions to provide status reports of funds to management.
- →Answers audit and internal review inspection reports.
- →Advise program managers on cost effectiveness of current programs.
- →Provide accounting financial advice and recommendations based on interpretation of accounting laws and regulations.
- →Coordinate the work of accountants, system analysts, and functional managers for a cohesive approach to problem resolution and improved operations.
- →Analyze financial data to find solutions to management accounting problems.
