Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, San Francisco Field Office, Centers for Excellence and Expertise (CEE) - Apparel, Footwear & Textiles (AFT). Location is negotiable to one of the locations listed below Los Angeles (LAX), CA Long Beach, CA Portland, OR San Francisco, CA Seattle, WA
What You'll Do
- →In this position you will serve as a member of a Center of Excellence and Expertise (Center) team responsible for enforcing statutory, regulatory, and treaty requirements of CBP and other federal and state agencies by determining admissibility of merchandise and other import-related decisions on a national scope and on an account basis.
- →You will serve in a dual role, externally, as the CBP representative/primary point of contact (POC) for major commercial business organization, and internally, as the POC in dealing with officials, managers, supervisors, and workers at various organizational levels throughout CBP on resolving import/export issues of major interest or impact to both the account and CBP.
- →This position starts at a salary of $106,437.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $138,370.00 (GS-13, Step 10).
- →Salary: Salary listed reflects the rest of U.S. scale and, if applicable, will be adjusted to meet the locality pay or cost of living expenses of the duty location upon selection.

Requirements
